Calling anyone who has helped GVAT from 2023 on (one time only, intermittently, regularly/currently involved or not): If you have not already filled out COEDI’s first annual survey, please do so now. Click here: share your GVAT experiences. It is really important that we hear from you, whether you have good, bad or neutral experiences to report. The 2024 survey results will form our baseline from which we can assess improvements in future years and will guide our actions towards creating those improvements. Please take a few minutes to help strengthen GVAT. Deadline June 28.
If you are a member of an equity-deserving or under-represented group within GVAT, our organizer, Izzy, would love to get to know you better. Email izzy@gvat.ca to arrange a 1:1 relational meeting, if this is of interest to you. We have decided to do 1:1’s rather than have a round table for people in these groups.
Moose Hide Campaign Day was very impressive. It was GVAT’s first year officially participating. Check it out here: https://www.gvat.ca/blog/moose-hide-campaign-may-16-2024
GVAT’s Indigenous Relationships Learning Circle aims to increase GVAT’s participation at Moose Hide next year and in the meantime, next up is National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21.
If you’d like to attend the celebration at Royal Roads with a group from GVAT, contact Tricia Sanders,
