GVAT Trainings & Workshops
We offer workshops and provide training in Industrial Areas Foundation organizing and power-building.
Our 10 hour Foundations of Community Organizing training is free for member organizations. Leaders from member organization will also have access to IAF retreats at reduced cost.
Our Indigenous Relationships Learning Circle has developed a short Land Acknowledgement Training, available for all GVAT bodies and member organizations. Contact janew@gvat.ca for details.
Foundations of Community Organizing Training
We have opened registration for our Foundations training, which will be led by our Training Team! We are asking folks who have not yet taken the training to please register, as well as encourage members of your institutions and communities to participate as well. This is an excellent opportunity for us to gather and learn from an experienced organizer.
